Requirements for a Belgium Business Visa Application

Please note that visas for the following nationals take a minimum of 15 working days Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Belarussia, Burundi, Congo(DRC), Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Indonesia, Iran , Iraq, Jordan, Kazakstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, N. Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Refugees, Saudi Arabia, Stateless, Somalia, Sudan, Surinam, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen + Palestinian Authority, Vietnam

For all other nationalities please see the requirements below:

• Passport that meets requirements set by the Embassy of Belgium in London [Explained]
• UK visa MUST be valid for at least 3 months upon return from your trip to Belgium.The Embassy is no longer issuing visas within the last three months of your UK visa even if you have a ticket back to your home country.
• Last Three Payslips
• Letter of invitation from the host company in Belgium
• Proof of Fully Paid Travel. [Explained]

• Important Notice - Please note if you are travelling by CAR/Vehicle (unless it is a coach tour) we are unable to help with your visa application

• Proof of Accommodation in Belgium (This must come directly from the hotel in Belgium)[Explained]
• Original Bank Statement* [Explained]
• Employment Letter[Explained]
• Travel Insurance (valid in Belgium)**
• 3 Colour Passport Photographs***
• Complete and sign the Belgium Visa application form [Download]
• Complete and sign the "The Schengen Office Case Sheet" and "The Schengen Office Terms and Conditions" [Download]
• Schengen Office Handling Fee + Embassy Fee [See below]

*Note: When appyling for multi-entry business visa the embassy wants to check you have sufficient funds to travel as a tourist (if a multi-entry Schengen visa is issued).
**Note: If applying for multi-entry visa Annual Travel Insurance is required. Having annual insurance does not guarantee a multi-entry visa however it is a requirement to qualify to apply for a multi-entry visa.
***Note: White background only (cream and light blue backgrounds are not accepted by the Embassy), shoulders must be in the photograph.

Official Schengen visa fee is: £78.55

Schengen Office fee £65 incl vat

Total Cost to process the visa through The Schengen Office is currently: £143.55*
