Passport and UK visa Requirements

The following are general passport and UK residency visa requirements which may differ from actual Embassy requirements. Any person who does not meet below listed requirements please contact The Schengen Office.

Any person that meets below listed requirements, meets minimum passport requirements for successful visa application at any Embassy / High Commission / Consulate listed on this web site. However this does not mean that visa will be granted as supporting documents are usually required.

Passport Requirements

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of return from your trip. It cannot be damaged and any alterations/extensions must be endorsed by the Home Office or relevant Embassy. Your pasport must have minimum two blank facing pages for visa stickers / stamps. Please contact us if your passport does not meet this criteria.

UK Visa Requirements - non UK passport holders

Your UK Visa must be:

• Valid UK residency visa (such as work permits, working holiday visas, spousal visas, student visas to name a few) endorsed in your current passport. Home Office letters will NOT be accepted as proof of visa.
• Have total validity of more than 6 months to be considered a residence permit.
• Valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date from your trip.

Note: C type visas are not considered as a resident permit for visa purposes.

If you have UK visa in previous passport please contact our office to check if endorsement needs to be transferred into your new passport.
