Requirements for a Spanish Tourist Visa Application

A booking is required - Please contact the office before submitting your application. Applications sent in without prior confirmation with the office may result in your application being returned uncompleted.

The following nationals must apply in person for their Spanish Visas:Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Burundi, China, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, Frandesspas Document, Indonesia, Iran , Iraq, Jordan, Kazakstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, N. Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Qatar, Travel Document holders, Tunisia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Surinam, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Yemen

  • If staying privately with family or friends in Spain you will need to apply directly with the Embassy.
  • Passport and UK visa both valid at least 4 months longer than the validity of the requested visa
  • ONE FULL BLANK visa page to affix the visa.
  • Your CURRENT UK Visa must be endorsed inside your CURRENT passport. UK visas endorsed in previous passports will not be accepted
  • Applicant has to have already lived in the UK for at least 6 months
  • Copy and Original Last three months Bank Statements with a minimum closing balance of GBP400 (for all trips up to 9 days) plus an additional GBP50 per day for each additional day above 9 days[Explained]
  • Employment or College Letter [Explained]
  • Copy and Original Last Three Payslips
  • Copy and Original Proof of Fully Paid Travel. [Explained] - Travel bookings should only be done after you have secured an appointment
  • Copy and Original Proof of Accommodation [Explained]
  • Travel Insurance - CANNOT BE PART OF YOUR TRAVEL BOOKING. INSURANCE MUST BE TAKEN OUT SEPARATELY
  • 3 Colour Passport Photographs (must have white background)
  • Complete and sign TWO Spanish Visa application form [Download]
  • Complete and sign the "The Schengen Office Case Sheet" and "The Schengen Office Terms and Conditions" [Download]
  • Schengen Office Handling Fee + Embassy Fee [See below]

Spanish "Tourist Visa" Fees:

Official Schengen visa fee is: €60 - approx. £45 to £47

Schengen Office High Season fee £94.00
Total Cost to process the visa through The Schengen Office is between: £139.00 - £141.00*

*Note:Includes €60 Embassy fee
